Mounica Dental Clinic (“the clinic”, “we”) runs this website and dental clinics in Guntur. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we protect it, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- From the appointment form on this website: your name, mobile number, preferred branch and date, and the problem you describe (optional). We also note which page you came from and the campaign link you used, so we know how people find us.
- When you visit the clinic: your name, age, sex, phone, address, who referred you, your medical history (conditions, medicines, allergies, habits), dental examination findings, treatment plans, prescriptions, bills and payments, and EHS / WJHS scheme details where you use them.
Why we use it
- To book and confirm appointments, and to call or WhatsApp you about them.
- To examine and treat you safely (for example, allergy and medical alerts before treatment).
- To prepare prescriptions, estimates, bills and receipts, and to process EHS / WJHS claims.
- To remind you about check-ups, pending treatment or dues, and to ask for feedback, only if you agree to WhatsApp messages.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising by others.
Who can see it
- Clinic staff, by role: reception sees only what is needed to register you, book and bill. Your medical history is visible to doctors.
- Our software provider, only to maintain and support the system. Every view and change of a patient record is logged.
- Government health schemes (EHS / WJHS), only for claims you make, and authorities where the law requires it.
How we protect it
Records are kept on secure servers in India, sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and protected by individual staff logins, role-based access, an access log and regular backups. Staff are trained to keep your information confidential.
How long we keep it
We keep treatment records as long as needed for your care and as required by law and medical record rules. Appointment requests that do not lead to a visit are kept only as long as needed to contact you.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask to see or correct your information.
- You can stop WhatsApp reminders at any time by replying “STOP” or telling the reception.
- You can ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep by law.
- You can withdraw consent; this does not affect treatment already given.
Contact and grievances
For any question or complaint about your information, contact the clinic at +91 8309168303. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
